Sr SARAVANAN SUBRAMANIAM , PJK.

- Master of Science in Construction Management, UTM (2000)
- Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying, UTM (1996)
Working Experience:
Upon graduation from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Saravanan joined Juru Ukur Bahan Malaysia / Davis Langdon & Seah, Johor Bharu office as a Project Executive. He was assigned to handle a number of projects ranging from Residential, factory and multistorey office complex buildings. Among the notable project he had involved in Johor Bharu are Menara Landmark, Mix Development of Mutiara Rini, SMT factory and Port Tanjung Pelepas.
On 1998, he was seconded to Sepakat Setia Perunding / Halcrow as Resident Quantity Surveyor for Cadangan Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas (Port Operating Facilities) with Contract Sum of RM 330 million. He was responsible for Post Contract Management for above Port Operating Facilities which consists of Container Yard, Container Freight Station, Port Administration Building, Custom Building, Ware House and all related Infrastructure works.
On February 2000, he was transferred to Juruukur Bahan Malaysia / Davis Langdon & Seah, Penang Branch office and promoted to the position of Associate. Later on, 2002 he was elevated to Assistant Technical Director and also Quality Assurance Unit Head of Penang Branch.
Among the notable project he directly involve in Penang, are Restoration of E&O Hotel, Star Newspaper Factory, Housing Development for Sunway Tunas, Housing Development for HUNZA Properties, Mix development for Prima Prai Group of Company, Army Camp, Bukit Gedung, Great Eastern Life Office Building, Penang, Golden Screen Cinema Gurney Plaza and few other projects.
On mid 2007; he obtained permit from Board of Quantity Surveyor to practice in the style of SG Contract Services to provide Quantity Surveying Consultancy.
In view of company expansion and in order to cater various Client demand, the firm was converted to Body corporate on January 2016 with establishment of Central region office in Shah Alam.
Sr Saravanan Subramaniam also actively involved in Alternative Disputes Resolution area such as Expert witness and Adjudicator. He had be appointed to almost 15 cases as Adjudicator by AIAC and involved in various Expert witness cases in Malaysia court.
Sr Saravanan Subramaniam also actively involved in Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) and ASEAN Quantity Surveying Association (AQSA).
He was Past Chairman of RISM Northern for year 2019/2020 and currently actively involved in AQSA as Assistant Secretary and chaired / moderated many series of talk and conferences.
As a part of Surveyor Corporate Responsibility, he is also actively give talk and lectures to the following University and Government bodies ; –
